Hamamatsu’s C13560 is a compact spectrometer module designed for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) and normal Raman spectroscopy measurements. With high sensitivity from 1850 to 400 wavenumbers, it is suitable for nondestructive identification of materials. For example, as shown in this video, the SERS module can identify materials and substances, such as plastics and solvents, based on their Raman spectra.

The C13560 includes a 785 nm excitation laser, a spectrometer optical system, and driver circuit. For SERS measurements, a dedicated SERS substrate (part # J13856-01, sold separately) is paired with the C13560 SERS module.
