Optical wavelength meters feature continuous calibration

March 18, 2022
238 Series optical wavelength meters, with an operational range from 700 to 1650 nm, characterize wavelengths of tunable transmitter lasers, distributed-feedback lasers, and VCSELs.

238 Series optical wavelength meters, with an operational range from 700 to 1650 nm, characterize wavelengths of tunable transmitter lasers, distributed-feedback lasers, and VCSELs used in fiber-optic communications, data storage, and 3D sensing. The model 238A version provides wavelength accuracy of ± 0.3 pm, while the model 238B version, with an accuracy of ± 1.0 pm, is well suited for less exacting requirements. Both models feature continuous calibration with a built-in laser wavelength standard.
