The Raman Systems R-2000 can be used for reaction monitoring, product identification, remote sensing, and characterization of highly scattering particles in aqueous solutions, gels, or other media. The system includes a 500-mW solid-state laser, a 2048-element miniature CCD array sensitive from 785 to 1000 nm, software, and an ISA-bus A/D card for interfacing with a PC.
