Full-frame CCD

Dec. 1, 1995
The KAF-16800 image sensor is a monochrome 4096 ¥ 4096-pixel full-frame CCD chip. The 9 ¥ 9-µm square pixels offer a 100% fill-factor sensor for industrial, commercial, scientific, and medical imaging applications. The chip has a high dynamic range (typically 76 dB). The dark current of less than 10 pA/cm2 at 25°C minimizes the need for cooling.
