IR receiver chip

Dec. 1, 1995
An infrared receiver chip is designed for wireless point-to-point communications systems within a 1-m range. The SIRComm SIR2 infrared communications receiver is an analog integrated circuit designed to run on either 5 or 3.3 V. The chip typically draws less than 90 µA, which means it need not power up from a sleep mode to receive data.
