All the timing electronics needed for time-correlated single-photon counting applications are included on the SPC-300 plug-in card for IBM-PC-compatible computers. The unit has femtosecond timing performance and can provide data collection rates of u¥to 5 MHz, or a multiplexing arrangement can take advantage of its 128 channels. Applications include fluorescence spectroscopy and imaging, biomedicine, and DNA sequencing.
