Chroma Technology opens Japanese office to serve biophotonics community

Optical filter maker Chroma Technology has opened a sales and technical support office in Yokohama, Japan.

Optical filter maker Chroma Technology (Bellows Falls, VT) has opened a sales and technical support office in Yokohama, Japan. Hisashi Okugawa has been named general manager of Chroma Technology Japan and will provide technical and sales support and business relationship opportunities to OEM customers, distributors, and the life sciences research community in Japan and other Pacific Rim countries.

Okugawa brings over 30 years of industry knowledge from his career with Nikon in their sales strategy, development, engineering, and microscope divisions. Chroma also has international sales and technical support offices in Olching, Germany, and Xiamen, China. The company is entirely employee-owned and specializes in the design and manufacture of precision optical filters and coatings.
