Irvine, CA, January 27, 2003. Newport Corporation announced two new and powerful features that boost the capabilities and flexibilities of its ESP300 Motion Controller. The first new feature is a new driver capable of providing up to 3 amps of motor driver current, and that can also handle tachometer feedback. The second new feature is a 400-Watt power supply option.

The original ESP300, equipped with a 1-amp driver and a 150-Watt power supply, is ideal for use with smaller motorized positioners. Now, with the new driver and the option of a 400 Watt power supply, a single ESP300 can drive up to 3 axes of motion using almost any combination of large, mid-sized, and compact stages and actuators.

Newport Corporation's ESP300 Motion Controller has always offered the best value in motion controllers; it's easy to use, is 'plug-and-play' compatible and offers excellent performance at an affordable price. For more information, click here .
