1350 nm lasers are now available in standard 19-emitter bars with total power >40 W continuous-wave (CW) and slope efficiency of >40%, single-emitter 1350 nm sub-mounts with 6 W CW power, and fiber-coupled products that provide 4.8 W CW power. They are designed for medical and communications applications.
