Edmund Optics names Agnes Huebscher as European marketing director

Optical components maker Edmund Optics has appointed Agnes Huebscher as European marketing director—a role in which she will handle all marketing in Europe, including tradeshows, advertising, customer mailings, and e-mail campaigns.

Barrington, NJ--Optical components maker Edmund Optics has appointed Agnes Huebscher as European marketing directora role in which she will handle all marketing in Europe, including tradeshows, advertising, customer mailings, and e-mail campaigns.

Huebscher formerly served as global marketing director with SCHOTT Advanced Optics, a company at which she spent a decade. She started her career as a senior manager in public relations and marketing, working her way up to director of marketing. As director, she managed a team of six and was responsible for international marketing and communications.

Huebscher received her master's degree in intercultural business management/business administration from Friedrich-Schiller University Jena in Germany.
