The SA-220RHT and SA-225RHT force balance accelerometers are designed as measurement while drilling (MWD) sensors for use in downhole sensing applications, such as high-temperature mapping.

The SA-220RHT and SA-225RHT force balance accelerometers are designed as measurement while drilling (MWD) sensors for use in downhole sensing applications, such as high-temperature mapping. SA-220RHT operates from 15 VDC at temperatures up to 200°C, while SA-225RHT requires 5 VDC and operates to 190°C. The accelerometers weigh 3.34 oz. and are packaged in nickel-plated 1.13 × 2.285 aluminum cases. Customized versions are also available.

BIAXIAL LINEAR ACCELEROMETERS DESIGNED FOR MEASUREMENT WHILE DRILLING (MWD) IN DOWN HOLE WELL APPLICATIONS

Columbia Research Laboratories' Models SA-220RHT and SA-225RHT Force Balance Accelerometers have been designed as Measurement While Drilling (MWD) sensors for use in down hole well service applications. In addition to exceptional high temperature performance, rugged construction and low power consumption have made the SA-220RHT and SA-225RHT sensors the accepted standard for use in down hole high temperature mapping. Both sensors are completely self-contained and provide a high level, low impedence output eliminating the need for high temperature signal conditioning.

The Model SA-220RHT operates from + 15VDC and is capable of operating at temperatures of up to 200°C. Model SA-225RHT requires + 5VDC and operates to 190°C. Units weigh 3.34 oz. (94.7 gm) and are packaged in nickel plated 1.13" Sq. x 2.285" H (2.9cm Sq. x 5.8cm H) aluminum cases. Customized versions re available through factory consultation.
