InGaAs camera from Princeton Instruments has uses in NIR/SWIR scientific applications
March 20, 2014
The NIRvana 640ST camera uses a 640 × 512 deep-cooled indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) focal-plane array for scientific imaging applications in the shortwave infrared (SWIR), such as standard SWIR fluorescence imaging, small animal imaging, astronomy, and deep tissue imaging. Features include resolution and sensitivity from 900 to 1700 nm, peak quantum efficiency >80%, remote operation from up to 50 m, and a maximum frame rate of 110 frames/s at full resolution.
