Thor Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers offer high pulse repetition rates (>7 kHz), high average power (up to 1 W), and short pulse lengths (<5 ns). Uses include rangefinding, Raman light detection and ranging (lidar), micromachining, and micromarking. The lasers generate emission in a TEM00 beam and with single-frequency spectral characteristics. Odin tunable mid-infrared (mid-IR) lasers are based on a fully contained, temperature-tunable optical parametric oscillator (OPO) and integrated pump laser, with a 125 × 70 × 45 mm footprint. The lasers generate mid-IR emission from 2 to 5 μm at 10 kHz, with <5 ns pulse widths, a linewidth of <1.5 nm, and tunability up to 50 nm. Applications include trace gas analysis in pollution control for the petrochemical, automotive, and energy production industries.SPIE Photonics West booth number: 2619To Learn More:Contact:CoboltHeadquarters: Solna, SwedenProduct: Thor Q-switched DPSS lasers and Odin tunable mid-IR lasersKey Features: Thor: >7 kHz pulse repetition rates and <5 ns pulse lengths; Odin: Mid-IR emission from 2 to 5 μm at 10 kHz
