PRESS RELEASE

Laser Quantum launch new tau 671 laser

Laser Quantum has announced the launch of their new tau 671nm laser. The tau is Laser Quantum’s smallest laser and its compact mono-block design makes it an ideal choice for OEM integration. The tau has an exceptional output of up to 50mW with a highly stable, diffraction limited beam. It is a high specification, single transverse mode cw red laser making it ideal for Raman spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy.

Laser Quantum is a globally recognised manufacturer of high quality diode-pumped-solid-state laser sources providing equipment and services to the aerospace, medicine, research and biomedical sectors. From its incorporation in 1994, Laser Quantum has based all its research, development and manufacturing in Stockport and continues to use its R&D resources to develop innovative products and technologies to address new customer requirements and improve on existing ones. Laser Quantum has offices in three countries plus well trained and supported distributors in 36 others.
