Laser Operations acquires assets of QPC Lasers

June 12, 2009--On June 1, 2009, Laser Operations LLC acquired all the assets of Quintessence Photonics Corporation, the operating subsidiary of QPC Lasers (Sylmar, CA). Just in February, QPC announced availability of its 100 W continuous-wave Brightlase Ultra-500 surgical laser at wavelengths from 13xx to 15xx nm.

June 12, 2009--On June 1, 2009, Laser Operations LLC acquired all the assets of Quintessence Photonics Corporation, the operating subsidiary of QPC Lasers (Sylmar, CA; see also "QPC Lasers' doors are still open"). Just in February, QPC announced availability of its 100 W continuous-wave Brightlase Ultra-500 surgical laser at wavelengths from 13xx to 15xx nm (see "100W CW laser for surgical applications from QPC").

The new company will leverage its financial stability and the deep business and managerial experience of its ownership group to support the customer base acquired from Quintessence and pursue new high growth opportunities in medical, industrial, defense, and consumer display markets uniquely suited for the market leading technologies and products acquired from Quintessence.
