March 1, 2006, Lynnfield, MA--Benchmark Technologies and Holographix have signed a fabrication services agreement whereby Holographix' proprietary polymer replication technology, as adapted for fabrication of nano-imprint templates, will be sold worldwide exclusively by Benchmark Technologies. The companies also agreed that Benchmark will also represent Holographix for sales activities of replicated optics and other replicated parts in territories currently not serviced by other representative organizations.

"Nano-imprint technology has begun to gain traction in the life sciences, data storage and optoelectronics industries and these users are looking for cost effective alternatives to using expensive 1st generation imprint templates," said Patrick Reynolds, president of Benchmark. "Holographix' replication technology allows for a production path that integrates much lower cost 2nd or 3rd generation templates to be used in production. We are also pleased to be working with Holographix to extend their market reach in replicated optics and other nano-fabricated parts."
