Milford, MA, June 10, 2004--Hoping to raise at least $20,000 for cancer research, "Team Photon" will participate in the Pan-Mass Challenge, Aug. 7-8. The 200-mile bike race goes from Sturbridge, MA, to Provincetown, MA, benefits the Jimmy Fund and other cancer charities. Linos employees Yvonne Chao, Mark Hutcheson, and Mark Chernosky, along with Linda Smith of Axxion Technologies and Tim Butler of Sitescape, make up Team Photon.

Members of the team say they were spurred to take on the challenge for personal reasons and to recognize the photonics industry's contribution to cancer research.
