Nikon enters Mexico microscope and metrology market

Nikon to open a new metrology showroom in Queretaro, Mexico.

Nikon (Brighton, MI) will be opening a new metrology showroom in Queretaro, Mexico, saying that the undertaking is a result of increased business in Latin America. To celebrate the grand opening, Nikon will be hosting an open house on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The open house is free to the public and will exhibit the new metrology showroom.

The metrology showroom will act as a location for hands-on product training and will provide its visitors with access to Nikon's latest in metrology technology for nondestructive, CAD comparison, and quality testing applications.

The open house will offer tours; in addition, application engineers will be available to provide attendees with interactive product demonstrations and answer questions they may have regarding how they can apply the new technology in the showroom to their current applications.

A few examples of the technology on display will include:

--industrial and measuring microscopes
--portable arms and scanners
--computed tomography x-ray machines
--coordinate measuring machines
--laser scanners
--iNexiv VMA, CNC video measuring systems
