Ocean Optics spectral sensor has optical resolution of 4.5 to 9 nm

Nov. 25, 2015
The Spark-DET-VIS spectral sensor measures simple absorbance, fluorescence, and emissive color from 380 to 700 nm.

The Spark-DET-VIS spectral sensor measures simple absorbance, fluorescence, and emissive color from 380 to 700 nm. It weighs < 1 g, is thermally stable from -10° to 60°C, and has optical resolution of 4.5 to 9 nm (FWHM). It requires custom electronics and complete integration, though a USB version is available for application development.
