Avantes to showcase spectrometer at LASER World of PHOTONICS 2017

The AvaSpec-HERO spectrometer is based on the company's high-sensitivity 100 mm optical bench.

The AvaSpec-HERO spectrometer is based on the company's high-sensitivity 100 mm optical bench, which offers a 0.13 numerical aperture (NA) and a cooled 1024 × 58 pixel backthinned detector. It also includes the company's AS7010 board, which includes an analog-to-digital converter with good noise performance and the ability to communicate at high speed through USB 3.0 and Ethernet. The spectrometer is standard-equipped for use with replaceable slits.
